Dear New Students and Families,
It is our pleasure to welcome you to George Mason University and invite you to Summer Orientation. The time you will spend on campus during Orientation will prepare you for this new chapter in your life as part of the Mason community. We know you may be feeling a range of emotions. The Office of Orientation and Family Programs and Services exists to assist you during your transition to Mason, both during Orientation and beyond. The experiences you will have during Orientation will lay the foundation for a successful journey at Mason. It will be a time to ask questions, get involved and become engaged in our vibrant, diverse and stimulating community. You will also have the opportunity to reach out to fellow students, faculty members and student support staff to learn about the academic and person resources available at the university. We are all here to help you reach your intellectual and personal goals on campus!
